Merry Christmas... but without the card!

Hi Everyone,

I apologize for it being such a long time in between entries. It's getting close to Christmas, and I have to say (and shamefully so) that we did not get our Christmas letter put together in time. We did not send any cards this year either, because I didn't get my act together and we had too much else going on. So we are sending out a HUGE apology to everyone. We send our love and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and God's continued blessings on you and your families.

So... what has kept us so busy, you ask? Noah has finished another Master's class online through USC. He's very glad to be done with that, as it caused him a lot of headaches this past semester. He's already in "vacation mode", ready to enjoy almost 2 weeks off in peace, away from the homework!

Noah has also been helping out a lot with the sound and lights for our Christmas production at church, in addition to his normal duties back in the technical booth on Sundays. I think he enjoys it :)

I have been involved in a lot of planning for work - including our Holiday Party, which is going to be on January 5th this year - several district meetings, and a gift exchange/meeting too. I baked about 4 dozen cookies a few weekends ago so I could bring some to a ladies' ornament exchange for church (which unfortunately was cancelled due to weather) and the rest to our work gift exchange.

In addition to all of this planning stuff, I've taken up playing tennis again! Boeing has a women's tennis league, which is basically for any skill level just to get out to have some fun on the court. So I've joined that, and am meeting some other ladies who like to play a little more competitively, and play with them on the weekend if I can. It's been very fun, but I'm finding out that being out of the game for such a long time sure leaves you sore the next morning! But it's worth every minute!

We are also planning to be in Springfield, IL with Noah's family from December 22 - 26th. After celebrating with them, we will be driving up to Wisconsin to celebrate up north from the 26th - 29th or so. On our way back down we'll be hitting Springfield, IL again to see Noah's brother Nick and his wife Cristol for a day. They life in Texas now and we don't see them very often.

And there you have it! Again, our apologies for the lack of holiday greetings via the USPS. We will be sure to have our letter ready ahead of time next year.

One last thing. We wanted to remind all of you, throughout all of the crazy hustle and bustle that the holiday season brings, to remember the true reason we are celebrating. Sometimes it gets lost to easily in the presents and food, and running here and there. Being thankful that our Savior came, though, is most important. Because without Him, we would be without hope. We just encourage each and every one of you to take a moment and tell Jesus how much He means to you this Christmas season.

Sending lots of love and warm wishes to you all!

Noah & Krista.

PS... here's a Christmas "funny" to keep the jollies rolling.
